Springtime in the mountains has Mother Nature blooming it up, showing off like nowhere else in the world! The sun’s warmth melts winter snows, and green buds push their way through the remaining sinter snows. By June, the weather is perfect for the start of the Vail Farmer’s Market and Art Show. This year, 2009, the Market begins on Sunday, June 21, and continues each Sunday through September 20th. From 10 am until 3:30 pm, you’ll be able to treat yourself to all the wonders of summertime Vail, high in the breathtaking beauty of the Colorado Rockies. Farm and other food products, jellies, jams, fruits and vegetables and tented vendors of all kinds arrive, attracting more than 120,000 visitors! You’ll find fresh-baked breads, pastries, home-made cheeses, salsas, sauces, and even ice-cream! Delicious pastas, chocolate sauces syrups, local wines, beef and game jerky, spices, oils — all manner of wonderful healthy foods and supplies await you at the Vail Farmers’ Market!

Take a break from the savory and browse the booths offering home-made soaps, dog treats, mementos of your trip to Vail. Check out local artisans’ crafts and wares. You’ll find lie entertainment, raffles, and an incredible array of interesting distractions to keep you intrigued and fascinated for hours! When you’re ready for lunch, you’ll find everything from BBQ and burgers to crepes, cheesesteak sandwiches, gyros, fresh-roasted nuts, and lots of tasty beverages to quench your thirst!
