This coming 4th of July, treat yourself to a trip to one of America’s greatest natural wonders — the Rocky Mountains — and join us at Vail America Days. Starting at 10 am with a patriotic parade in reds, whites and blues at Golden Peak, the parade ends up at Lionshead around noon. From noon to three pm, there will be a concert at 2 pm at the Gerald R. Ford Amplitheater, you’ll find plenty of entertainment in Vail Village and Lionshead. Of course, no Independence Day celebration would be truly complete without a fireworks display. Head over to Golden Peak at 9:30 pm to see the Vail America Days’ fireworks. The thin, clear mountain air really does make a difference! The colors are nothing shy of spectacular!

Virtually every town across the United States has a parade commemorating our nation’s battle for independence from England. The patriots who fought so valiantly against the mighty British Empire, were victorious against incredible odds. Their love of liberty was what sustained them, and bought us our own freedom and this wonderful nation. To honor them and celebrate our freedom, we celebrate their bravery and patriotism each year all across this nation. From the smallest town to the largest cities, we have parades and feasts and fireworks from coast to coast.
