Summer: Open the door to a world of adventure and life-long love of learning for the young scientist in your family at Gore Range Natural Science School. During our Youth Science Day Camps, children experience the wild places of the Eagle Valley while nurturing their connection to the natural world through mountain "backyard" explorations. Gore Range Natural Science School offers a range of guided walks and talks that will help you explore and appreciate the natural world, whether you’re atop Vail Mountain or alongside the banks of Gore Creek. Their Field Curriculum caters to a diversity of interests and is designed as a progression that takes you from novice to master. Choose courses of interest, or follow their curriculum guidelines to earn your Master Naturalist Certification designed to increase your awareness of the natural world and provide opportunities for you to get involved in conservation of natural communities.
