The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail is a spectacular outdoor venue that seats 1260 guests in covered seating and an additional 1300 on its expansive grassy hilside with a breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains. Gates to the venue open one hour prior to show time. Lawn seating is available on a first come-first served basis. The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater is fully ADACompliant and provides special accommodations for those with limited mobolity. Concessions with food and alcohol sales are available at the facility. Picnics and commercially sealed non-alcoholic beaverages are permitted. The GRFA is also availble for private rentals.
Gore Range Natural Science School offers a range of guided walks and talks that will help you explore and appreciate the natural world, whether you’re atop Vail Mountain or alongside the banks of Gore Creek. Their Field Curriculum caters to a diversity of interests and is designed as a progression that takes you from novice to master.
